    About Alice Cooper

    Alice Cooper Tickets - Artist History

    Alice Cooper was born February 4, 1948 in Allen Park, Michigan as Vincent Damon Furnier. Known for his showmanship, Alice Cooper's concerts often include a guillotine, gallows, fake blood, baby dolls, and even a boa constrictor. He is considered a pioneer of shock rock, a theatrical and often violent type of heavy metal. Originally, 'Alice Cooper' was a band that included Furnier on vocals.

    Alice Cooper Tickets - The Music

    In 1975, the Alice Cooper band broke up, and Furnier legally took the name 'Alice Cooper', releasing his first solo album Welcome to My Nightmare. Alice Cooper tickets sold well, although his brand of rock was certainly new on the scene. Cooper continued to produce records, with his popularity hitting its peak with the 1989 hit 'Poison'. Cooper continues to record and release albums, including the 2008 release Along Came a Spider. Not surprisingly, Alice Cooper tickets have continued to increase in sales as he keeps gaining fans.

    Cooper is not limited to the concert stage. He is also well-known for being quite witty and sociable. Aside from his music, Alice Cooper is an actor, golfer, restaurateur, and a popular radio disk jockey.
