However, there's more class here than you think, and one Amanda Palmer headed the class as lead singer, pianist, lyricist and composer for the Dolls. And she had the clout to go with it. Graduating from Wesleyan University and getting involved in the theater for a number of years, she put herself out there with the knowledge of a true-blue musician to the stars when she met drummer Brian Viglione in 2000 and then formed the Dolls a year later.
