AN21 Proves Talent Runs in the Family (Created April 24, 2013)

Antoine Josefsson, aka AN21, has music in his blood. His brother, Steve Angello, is one third of the Swedish House Mafia and proof that musical ambition and talent runs in the family.

Josefsson, a super talented producer in his own right, has been consuming music since he was a child. His first taste of club culture served as a magnet to the scene, and before long he was playing anywhere and everywhere in order to build his reputation. Just after his 18th birthday, he was booked one night a month at one of the top clubs in Sweden; six months later he had broken down doors to several others, shaping his sound and building a fan base along the way.

Known as AN21, he has remixed music for major artists like Tommy Sparks, Ellie Goulding, Basement Jaxx, and Pendulum and Gorillaz. Under the tutelage of his brother, he's also become known for a fearlessness that comes along with being a star DJ on the world stage. Simply put, he's never afraid to experiment with different sounds, and eats, sleeps and breathes the music.

AN21 and Max Vangeli's album, "People of the Night," drew rave reviews thanks to tracks like "H8rs" and the collaboration with his brother, "Bombs over Capitals." That led to AN21 being in high demand in North America, Asia and Europe; his engagements have been everywhere from Brazil and Liverpool to Las Vegas. Last summer he packed them in at The Creamfields Festival in England, with some 10,000 fans showing up.
