About Asking Alexandria
Asking Alexandria Tickets - English Metalcore to the Core
Hailing from York, North Yorkshire, from the very beginning in 2008, a few musicians decided to get together and make some serious metal music with punk styles added in -- these musicians were named Ben Bruce on lead guitar, Danny Worsnop on vocals, Cameron Liddell on rhythm guitar, Sam Bettley on bass guitar, and James Cassells on drums. Thanks to their talent, Sumerian Records took notice and made it possible for this band to release a debut album.

September 15, 2009, saw the release of that album, and it was titled Stand Up and Scream. They earned a following -- so much so that they began touring all over the United States with the likes of Alesana, Enter Shikari, The Bled, and Evergeen Terrace.
