Blake Shelton finds his 'Voice' (Updated February 6, 2013)

If it's possible to capture a moment in time – or in this case, roughly 3 calendar years – and live them over and over again, Blake Shelton would probably love that opportunity. The last 1,095 days (2010- and 2012, specifically) have been the best of Shelton's life, both personally and professionally. From his marriage to fellow country superstar Miranda Lambert to a plethora of Number One songs and accolades, Shelton is riding high not just on the country music scene, but as an international sensation.

Following the success of the duet "Hillbilly Bone" with Trace Adkins in early 2010, Shelton carried that momentum into his own music. He released "All About Tonight" (a radio-friendly party anthem) as part of an EP in August, watched it climb to the top of the charts, then officially joined the Grand Ole Opry the following month. The icing on the cake was his remake of the title track for "Footloose" in October, becoming a judge/coach on the NBC television series "The Voice," then capturing the Male Vocalist of the Year at the 44th annual Country Music Association (CMA) awards in November.

Shelton released his sixth studio album, "Red River Blue," in the summer of 2011. Every single released from the album went to No. 1, starting with "Honey Bee" and ending with "Over." The latter was his seventh consecutive No. 1 overall and the 12th of his career. The lucky streak carried over onto "The Voice," where the winners of seasons 2 and 3 of the hit show came from Shelton's team. Finally, in February 2012, he took the stage with his wife at Super Bowl XLVI to sing "America the Beautiful."

At 12:02 on New Year's Day 2013, Shelton premiered a new single called "Sure Be Cool If You Did," which was officially released for digital download a week later. A new album will drop in the spring (release date to-be-determined) and he'll hit the road for the "Ten Times Crazier" tour beginning July 19 in Virginia Beach, Va. Joining him on the road will be Easton Corbin and Jana Kramer.
