UPDATE
Adding some hometown love before the 2012 fall leg of the "Global Warming Tour" kicks off, Aerosmith announced they will play a live show in the streets of Boston on November 5. The wrinkle is that the exact location will not be revealed until that morning and as a rep for the band put it the band will, "show up somewhere in the city, around noon, and play on the streets.” Pretty cool. No tickets required it appears, just fast feet and a desire to see Beantown's own jam out on the concrete.
As for the fall tour, it kicks off November 8 in Oklahoma and will proceed through December 13. Check the info below on average ticket prices for these fall Aerosmith shows.

UPDATE
With Steven Tyler having no commitments to American Idol and the band having completed a successful touring run this summer with critical acclaim, Aerosmith announced their plans to extend their Global Warming Tour with a second leg in the fall.
The 14 city trek will kick off on November 8 in Oklahoma City and will play arenas in Wichita, Kansas City, Austin, New York, Columbus, Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Toronto, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Sunrise, Tampa and Nashville.
The tour actually kicks off two days after the release of their new studio album entitled "Music From Another Dimension."

Aerosmith, the band that helped lay the base for Hard Rock in the 70s and 80s, and broke down musical boundaries with Run DMC, is back on tour with a newly announced 'Global Warming Tour' which will be heating up arenas across the USA. Demand should be high for these rock legends as they have been away from their home country touring in South America and Japan.
Expect the energy to be high on this tour as Steve Tyler emphasized "The old Aerosmith is back with a new vengeance and we will kick your ass and make out with yur mothers". In addition, the Global Warming Tour has included Cheap Trick to contribute to the action.

The Global Warming Tour starts on June 29th at the Times Union Center in Albany, NY.
