Unless you have been living under a rock for your entire life, you've probably heard of Blue Oyster Cult. With hits like "Don't Fear the Reaper," "Burnin' for You," and "Godzilla," this rock n' roll band, whose career spans multiple decades, are icons of American music. Since the release of their self-titled debut back in 1972, the five-piece band has sold over 24 million albums worldwide, including seven million in the United States alone. And now, you'll get the chance to see them live.

That's right, folks. Blue Oyster Cult wants to celebrate their 40th anniversary with you! Their 2012/2013 tour dates see the rockers in venues throughout the United States, including stops in Nevada, Florida, Connecticut, and New York City. The original NYC dates included an anniversary show, originally slated for October 28 at the Best Buy Theater. Unfortunately, due to Hurricane Sandy, the show was postponed. The new date to see the legendary rockers is November 5 – same venue, although the band says to "expect special guests and other surprises." The tour will wrap up on February 8 in Wendover, NV.
