The Brit DJ named for the unguardedly amorous species of chimpanzee, Bonobo is about to show his fans a whole lot of love: He's just announced 2013 tour dates! Simon Green will head out on a North American tour this spring – in just three short days, to be exact – promoting his most recent release, the album The North Borders. On April 10 Bonobo will appear in Washington, D.C., at the region's famed Black Cat venue, a fittingly high-profile beginning to his two-month trek. The musician will spend the rest of his time out on the road (or, more likely, up in the air) flitting back and forth between the US and Canada for various dates. Bonobo will tour through mid-May, having booked his final stop in New Orleans, LA, at Tipitinas, on May 11.
The North Borders marks Green's fifth release under the stage-name Bonobo. However, the prolific producer has also recorded and enjoyed underground success with fellow DJ Robert Luis from Tru Thoughts. When together, the pair perform as Nairobi (Luis' on-stage alter ego) and Barakas (Green's other pseudonym). Bonobo, however, remains the English artist's main meal ticket and priority, so show your love for the innovative act by snatching up tickets to his latest concert series below!
