Bunbury Music Festival
The Bunbury Music Festival, a three-day extravaganza held in Cincinnati, OH, has just revealed their 2013 lineup. The festival, which features some of the hottest names in indie/alt music, will feature the musical stylings of Fun., MGMT, Belle & Sebastian, Yo La Tengo, and Tegan & Sara. The event takes place over July 12 - 14, and single-day as well as three-day passes are currently on sale. Last year, festy attendees got to watch headliners Jane's Addiction, Weezer and Death Cab for Cutie. Not too shabby for an inaugural year!
This is only the second time 'round for the Bunbury Fest, which will be held once again on Sawyer Point Yeatman's Cove which is on the banks of the Ohio River. It was founded in 2012 by MidPoint Music Festival co-founder Bill Donabedian (this man has the best job in the universe, no?), and aims to integrate eco-friendly/technological initiatives with music. Reduce, reuse, recycle, rock out. The event holds over 100 performances on six different stages, and while there is no on-site camping, lodging information including discounted hotels and nearby campgrounds are available on the site. Check below for tickets, lineup info, and last year's performances.
