Calexico Tickets 2012
The Tucson, Arizona Americana-country duo of Joey Burns and John Convertino will be traveling throughout Europe before being joined by The Dodos for their fall 2012 music tour in the United States. The band, named after the town in northern California, has been recording since 1996 and has released 7 studio albums in their career. This upcoming tour will a means to promote their upcoming album, Algiers, which is set to release in September 2012.
Calexico is best known for their 2005 EP recorded with Iron & Wine, In The Reins, which reached the Billboard Top 200 Album List.
The Dodos Tickets 2012
While Calexico is playing at the renowned Osheaga Music Festival in Montreal August 3-5th, The Dodos will perform at a solo show of their own in San Francisco before the two groups join up for the remainder of their tour.
The Dodos are an indie rock band comprised of Meric Long and Logan Kroeber. So far they have released 4 studio albums: Beware of the Maniacs(2006), Visiter(2008), Time To Die(2009), and No Color(2011).
