Nineties ensembles Counting Crows and The Wallflowers are teaming up for a joint tour this summer, bringing back the angsty rock ballad in all its retro glory. The guys have lined up a series of North American dates slated for this June-July, which includes several stops in New York, as well as others along the East Coast, out West and up in Canada. The tour kicks off June 14 in Farmingville, NY, and, as of now, is scheduled to wrap July 21 in Costa Mesa, CA.
Although it's the first they'll perform together, this latest round of concert dates is also an extension of both the Counting Crows' and The Wallflowers' respective ongoing tours. The Wallflowers toured through late 2012, while the Counting Crows recently kicked off a series of spring shows earlier in the month. Whether or not the bands will resume their solo treks after July remains to be seen, but we do know for certain ticket links for their hotly anticipated collaborative gigs are on sale now – see discount links below!
