T-Swift, everyone's favorite blonde with many boyfriends, is now rumored to be dating Ed Sheeran. Though he's not a country singer, he has been opening for her during her RED Tour. Doesn't she know, dating co-workers is one rule you shouldn't break. Though, until she writes a song about him, it's all just speculation.
Toby Keith continues to be one of the most ridiculously played country artists. He was given several BMI Million-Air awards recognizing 15 million plays of his hits - “How Do You Like Me Now?!,” as well as the non-PETA approved “Beer for My Horses”, “I Love This Bar” and “Who’s Your Daddy?” (Apparently he enjoys asking questions in the titles of his songs.)
Kacey Musgraves, country music's more rebellious chanteuse, is starting to open for Kenny Chesney on his current tour. She breaks free of T-Swift's extra good girl mould by singing songs about friends with benefits, girls kissing girls, and (most horrific of them all) marijuana inhalation. God save country. Check out her acoustic version of "It Is What It Is." It is pretty cool.
Darius Rucker is set to release his third studio album, True Believers, featuring his rollin' hit "Wagon Wheel" on May 21st. Rucker is pleased with the slightly different sound of this new album, which was recorded in his hometown of Charleston, SC. Go see if you can hear the difference when he takes off on tour May 9th.
