In a bit of news, albeit large news, looking toward next summer, Green Day announced they will play a huge show at London's Emirates Stadium, a 60,000 capacity venue. Currently working on their new album trilogy '¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, ¡Tré!', which have release dates of September 24, November 12 and January 13 respectively, the band is already making big plans for 2013.

Legendary punk rockers Green Day have been largely absent from U.S. touring scene since 2010, but that could be because the band has been busy recording an epic set of three albums due to be released through early 2013. ¡Uno! and ¡Dos! are due out September and November, respectively, while ¡Tré! is slated to be released Jan. 15, 2013.

Green Day will also be preforming at the upcoming Voodoo Music Experience Oct. 26-28 in New Orleans, LA. Held every summer at the New Orleans Fairgrounds and Racetrack, this year's festival will span three days starting Friday October 26 and closing out Sunday October 28.
