Jake Owen, currently gearing up for the start of the CMT "The Summer Never Ends 2012" tour, released a 4 song EP entitled "Endless Summer" this week that is holding strong in the top 10 iTunes album downloads chart. Even though the EP is only 4 songs long, it gives a potential look at what fans can hear new on the tour as it features urban and pop influences as well as a cover of Ben Harper's "Steal My Kisses."
On the horizon, Owen has the tour kick off in New York City on October 10 at the Best Buy Theatre in Times Square. Check out the updated info below on deals and ticket prices for the CMT Tour this fall.

Jake Owen has announced that he will be headlining the 11th Annual CMT Tour, fulfilling a lifelong dream for the 30-year-old country singer. This announcement comes on the heels of a summer tour in which Owen acted as support for Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney. The CMT "The Summer Never Ends 2012" tour begins on October 10 in New York City and runs through mid-December, with shows in Detroit, Charlotte, Chicago, and Minneapolis, to name a few. The festivities wrap up on December 15 when Owen will play his annual charity show in Vero Beach, FL.
Owen got his start in 2006 when he released his first studio album, Startin' with Me, under the RCA Nashville record label. The album's debut single peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and led to Owen opening for acts such as Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. Since that time, Owen has released two more full-length albums, with his most recent, Barefoot Blue Jean Night, peaking at No. 1 on the US Country chart.
