Philadelphia's indie sensation, Matt Pond, has just announced a slew of winter shows in support of his latest album. He'll be joining rockers Jukebox The Ghost as support on this extensive tour, which spans all of February and half of March. It kicks off on February 6, in Portland, ME, at the Port City Music Hall, and moves through the East Coast with dates in Connecticut and New York City and Maryland. Also on the docket are stops in Texas, Oregon and Chicago. The final three stops on the tour bring Pond back to the East, with a show in Boston, Philly, and DC on March 16.

Pond's latest release, The Lives Inside the Lines In Your Hand, is his fourth effort, and showcases a more upbeat and honest side of the singer. The new music also signifies some big changes for the artist – he recently dropped the "PA" from his artist name, and is officially flying solo. He's also begun partnering with new label and longtime publishing partner, BMG. Check out the album's first single, "Love to Get Used," to see what we're talking about.
