Following a successful stint on last weekend's episode of Saturday Night Live, Mumford & Sons have made an announcement less funny, more fantastic for fans abroad: the folk quartet will embark on a UK tour beginning this November. Traveling back to their homeland for a two-month series of shows, the bluegrass hitmakers will play mainly English venues, with a few Scottish and Irish concerts in December. Yesterday, Mumford & Sons kicked off their brief summer tour in Hoboken, NJ, with a surprise for fans: a preview of their forthcoming second album, Babel. The pair of never-before-performed songs included "I Will Wait (Nothing is Written)" and "Whispers In the Dark." Will the band continue to tease Babel before its official release date September 25th? It may be worth grabbing tickets to each of their August shows to find out.

Mumford & Sons have announced a short summer tour that will be in addition to the previously announced "Gentleman of the Road Stopover" dates to take place in Portland, Bristol, Dixon and Monterey. The 10 new August dates will have the band visit Hoboken, Providence, Louisville, Columbus, Lincoln, Morrison and a few others.

Mumford & Sons Announce Four Festival Like Shows - Find Tickets Here
Fresh off their performance at Coachella, Mumford & Sons announced a series of four dates in the United States that will feel more like festivals than your standard headlining gig and will function separetely from their current schedule which includes a stop at Jazz Aspen Snowmass. With artists from around the world, local vendors and businesses as well as merchandise, the band is bringing their own spin on the festival theme with their “Gentlemen Of the Road Stopovers" dates.
Each date has a separate cast of supporting acts which include Dawes, St. Vincent, The Maccabees, Apache Relay, Jeff The Brotherhood, Justin Townes Earle, Gogol Bordello and The Very Best. Set to take place in August, the dates are below.
