Roger Hodgson kicked off a string of North American tour dates last night, with a performance in Morristown, NJ. This was the first of six stops on his tour, which had to be postponed last week due to Hurricane Sandy. Tonight, November 9, Hodgson will grace the folks of Shippensburg, PA, with his presence, when he plays a show at the Luhrs Performing Arts Center. Also on the docket are stops in Indiana, Windsor and Rama. The tour wraps up on November 20, with a show in Glenside, PA, at the Keswick Theatre.
Roger Hodgson is probably best known for his work in the band Supertramp, the British progressive rock band from the '70s. Multi-instrumentalist Hodgson composed and sang the majority of the band's hits, including "Dreamer," "Breakfast in America," and "Take the Long Way." After leaving the band in 1983, he went on to pursue a solo career and has since released four albums. His most recent album, Classics Live, is a double CD, and will be released later this year.
