Back in November, we gave the lowdown on the tour plans for Roger Waters and his live version of "The Wall." What was unknown at the time was the venue for his New York City show on July 6.
This past week, Waters announced that the venue for the show will be none other than Yankee Stadium, the latest in a string of dates that "The Wall" will be performed at one of MLB's ballparks. On May 11, Waters will perform at AT&T Park, the home of the San Francisco Giants; on June 8 at Wrigley Field, the home of the Chicago Cubs; and on July 14 at Citizens Bank Park, the home of the Philadelphia Phillies.

What is amazing is the haul that "The Wall" took in during 2011. Pollstar reported that the show sold 936,832 tickets for a total gross of $103.6 million.
