Slash Heading Back Across The Atlantic in 2013

UPDATE

Slash can't seem to get enough of the United Kingdom. Having played shows in Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Brixton and Newcastle in 2012, the former Guns N' Roses guitarist will now head back across the pond in 2013. The axe man has booked a Nottingham Arena show on February 28 and a Empress Ballroom show in Blackpool on March 1.

Update 8/5/2012: Slash has expanded his tour of the United Kingdom with the addition of a second date at the O2 Academy in Brixton on October 12. The former Guns'N'Roses guitarist will now play the venue on October 11 and October 12. He is touring in support of his latest solo album "Apocalyptic Love" which was released back in May.

Update 7/30/2012: Slash has added to his lineup of October tour dates, scheduling a series of early to mid-month shows in the U.K. The former Guns N' Roses rocker will have a three-day grace period before catching a flight from L.A. to Scotland, where his first of five U.K. concerts will kick off in Edinburgh October 7th.

Slash announced his fall headliner tour dates last week. Slash and his band Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators will be performing from September 4th until October 3rd, spanning 14 states over 18 different venues. Foxy Shazam will also be touring with the band (except in Toronto and New Hampshire). Tickets will be on sale to the public beginning July 13th, but an exclusive presale for Citi members starts on July 3rd. However, it is expected that most performances will be sold out, so fans should check SeatGeek to search 60+ secondary market ticket sites to compare and get the best deal.

Slash will also be performing a headlining summer tour from July 12th to August 10th, alongside Monster Truck. Both the summer and fall tour will be featuring songs from his most recent album, Apocalyptic Love - including hit single "You're a Lie", which was the rocker's first solo number 1 rock radio hit. Slash's upcoming performances mark his first headlining tour since his former band, Guns 'N Roses, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It has now been sixteen years since his departure from Guns 'N Roses; yet, Slash is still very much an active performer, and his album's ranking at 4 on Billboard 200 proves that he's still got it.
