The perennially humorous and entertaining heavy-metal foursome, Steel Panther, have announced the schedule for their next tour, dubbed "S.T.D." (an acronym for "spreading the disease" - no worries). The band - comprised of musicians Michael Starr, Satchel, Lexxi Foxx and Stix Zadinia - will hit up major cities along the East Coast, including several stops in New York and Pennsylvania. They'll also make a pitstop in Japan to "spread the disease" at the 2013 Ozzfest extravaganza. The tour kicks off on April 13 in Orlando, FL, at Tinker Field, and wraps up on May 19 at Rock on the Range in Columbus, OH.
Originally known as Metal Shop and Metal Skool, the L.A.-based band rarely disappoint when bringing their ludicrous and profane lyrics onstage in an effort to recreate the heavy metal lifestyle of the late 1900s. The band has released three albums to date: Hole Patrol, Feel the Steel and Balls Out. Steel Panther's unanimously favorite hit, "Death To All But Metal," is not only a great song with great vocals, but the obscene hilarity of the lyrics guarentee the listener's jaw to drop. Keep your ears peeled for their upcoming album which they're currently recording with members of Anthrax, Stone Sour and Meatloaf.
