Sum 41 has announced dates for a full-blown anniversary tour, in which they'll perform their classic album, Does This Look Infected?, in its entirety. Call it an act of desperation, or call it a completely awesome idea. I choose to believe the latter, because like many of us who're now in their mid-20s, I thought "Fat Lip" was the theme song of my adolescence.

The tour begins on November 2 at Chicago's House of Blues, and traverses parts of the Midwest and Canada before a string of East Coast dates which begin on November 14 in New York City. After an 8-city stint in New England, the punk rockers take the show below the Mason Dixon line, performing in cities such as North Carolina and Atlanta. The tour wraps up on December 9 in Fort Lauderdale.

Canadian-born Sum 41 got their start at the tail end of the '90s during the pop-punk explosion. After signing with Island Records in 1999, they achieved mainstream success with their debut album, All Killer, No Filler, in 2001. Taking cues from bands like Blink 182, New Found Glory and Green Day, Sum 41's sound was a mixture of punk rock, pop, and lyrics that were alternately self-depracating and silly. Does This Look Infected was the band's second album, and was released in 2002.
