Following the announcement that Avicii will be playing in New York City on New Year's Eve, Swedish House Mafia has announced that they will be playing at one of the most famous venues in the World, Madison Square Garden on December 16. The Swedish group will be taking their successes to New York City, as they become the first ever DJ act to perform at Madison Square Garden.
The house trio of Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello, and Axwell, all made big names for themselves as DJs and producers before forming Swedish House Mafia in 2008. With memorable house tracks like "Miami 2 Ibiza", "One (Your Name)", and most recently "Save the World", Swedish House Mafia has become a tremendous electronica fan-favorite...and this headliner suggests that the party is not stopping anytime soon.
If you are a fan of Swedish House Mafia on Facebook, then you will have access to the ticket pre-sale on Thursday, September 29th at 10am EST. The general public pre-sale will begin on Friday, September 30th at 10am EST.
The end of the year is a great time for NYC house fans. Head over to Madison Square Garden on December 16 to check out Swedish House Mafia, before continuing the party at Pier 94 on New Year's Eve for Avicii. In the meantime, take a look at show and ticket details below.
*UPDATE #3* - Swedish House Mafia just announced that they are adding a limited quantity of tickets to their show at MSG. The additional tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, October 11 at 12pm EST, 2 per customer. Special guests at the show will be A-Trak and Jaques Lu Contes. *UPDATE #2* - The Swedish House Mafia show at Madison Square Garden has sold out yesterday...in only the pre-sale. According to SHM's Facebook, they are looking to potentially add another show or reconfigure the stage at MSG to add more tickets. Stay tuned as SeatGeek keeps you updated!

Best of luck as you look to score Swedish House Mafia MSG tickets. The band is reportedly trying to keep prices down and were looking for the owner of StubHub on Twitter earlier: "Who knows who runs stubhub?". Who knows what that means, but should be an interesting story as it develops.
