System of Down, a band that has been nominated for 4 Grammy Awards (including one win in 2006 for "B.Y.O.B.") in the past and saw huge success with their five albums to date, is hitting the road again this summer and taking Deftones along for the ride.
The two week trek will take place in August and visit the metropolitan areas of New York, Washington DC, Boston, Detroit and Chicago. Also included are two Canadian festival dates in Montreal and Toronto.
The Deftones have been in the studio recording their seventh studio album which is due out later this year. System of a Down on the other hand have not released any new music since their 2005 album "Hypnotize."
