Aussie rockers, Tame Impala, have announced a world tour which will run from August 15 through November. The tour is in support of their newest album, Lonerism, which is due out October of this year. The tour begins in Sao Paulo, BR, and will stay overseas with several shows in Australia and Europe for the majority of the band's run. North America is finally graced with Tame Impala's presence on November 7 when the band will play a show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. They'll also hit up major cities such as Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, and San Francisco, and finally wrap things up on November 17 in Los Angeles at The Fonda.

Tame Impala has been making a name for themselves in the psychedelic-rock genre since the release of their debut album in 2010, titled Innerspeaker, which was named by Pitchfork Magazine as Best New Music. Later that year the band would go on to open for MGMT on their American tour, and would also be nominated for four ARIA Music Awards and Triple J award for Album of the Year, which they won. Tame Impala's latest album is said to feature more emotional song writing and a more pronounced narrative perspective, according to vocalist and guitarist Kevin Parker.
