The Bamboozle festival is an annual event that grew out of the Skate and Surf Festival. It follows an interesting format in which new bands compete for the first two days of the three day festival for a spot in the core of the festival. In 2003, the festival begin at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park and it is rumored to be returning to Asbury Park in 2012.

Information below is from last year's Bamboozle festival
The Bamboozle 2011 Festival will be held at the New Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, NJ. The festival will take place over the course of three days, Friday April 29th through Sunday May 1st, and there will be a total of 9 stages. So far 60 artists have been announced and there should be several more artists to be announced as we get closer to the start of festival. Some of the more notable headlining artists in The Bamboozle 2011 lineup as of right now are Lil' Wayne, Motley Crue, Taking Back Sunday, The Gaslight Anthem, and Wiz Khalifa. The complete lineup to date is listed below and it looks like there is a great mix of artists performing at The Bamboozle 2011. We will be keeping you updated as new bands are added to the lineup.
