One last thing to add:

6) There&#039;s no excuse not to have an active social media presence.  If you&#039;re not all over Twitter by the time you&#039;ve launched, then you&#039;re doing it wrong.  Make sure you&#039;ve got a team of people ready to answer questions, comments, complaints and feedback.
