    Great Customer Service

I tested positive for Covid one day before I was scheduled to see a show I had been looking forward to for a long time. I called support and at 10 pm on a Monday they were able to transfer my tickets to the same seats the following month, to a date of my choosing. They coordinated with the box office and sent me follow ups every step of the way. Thanks Ash at Seat Geek!

About Chet Faker Tickets

Chet Faker is the stage name of Australian singer, songwriter, and producer Nick Murphy, who rose to prominence in the early 2010s with his unique blend of electronic, soul, and downtempo music. Born and raised in Melbourne, Murphy adopted the moniker “Chet Faker” as a playful nod to the jazz musician Chet Baker, whose smooth vocal style influenced his own. He began releasing music independently online, quickly gaining attention for his soulful reinterpretation of Blackstreet’s “No Diggity,” which went viral and introduced his smoky vocals and minimalist production to a global audience.

Building on this momentum, Chet Faker released his debut EP Thinking in Textures in 2012, earning critical acclaim for its lush soundscapes and introspective songwriting. His full-length debut album, Built on Glass (2014), propelled him into international recognition, featuring hits like “Talk Is Cheap” and “Gold.” The record won multiple ARIA Awards, including Best Male Artist and Producer of the Year, and solidified him as one of Australia’s most innovative contemporary artists. His sound — a fusion of soulful vocals, electronic beats, and organic textures — became emblematic of a new wave of indie-electronic music that bridged the gap between dance and introspection.

After taking a break from the Chet Faker persona in 2016 to release music under his birth name, Nick Murphy eventually revived the moniker in 2020 with the single “Low.” This return marked a creative renewal, leading to his 2021 album Hotel Surrender, which revisited the warmth and groove of his earlier work while reflecting newfound maturity and self-awareness. Over his career, Chet Faker has performed at major festivals such as Coachella and Glastonbury, collaborated with artists like Flume and Marcus Marr, and earned a reputation for crafting music that feels both deeply personal and sonically adventurous. His evolution from bedroom producer to globally recognized artist reflects a career built on reinvention, emotion, and authenticity.
