About Chuckie - They call him the "Mix-King" (Created February 6, 2013)

Known in many circles as the "mix-king," Chuckie's presence and personality tend to fill up a room just as much as his music. His ability to combine various genres and styles together is second-to-none, leading the DJ and producer to a robust international following that is growing day by day.

Born Clyde Sergio Narain in 1978 in Suriname, Chuckie was influenced by a wide range of artists and sounds. He eventually moved to the Netherlands and began DJing at private parties and other functions, building up a solid fan base. He didn't remain under the radar for long, as he started working at club Voltage in The Hague and did remixes for bands and other producers.

The year 2008 proved to be a bit of a coming out party for Chuckie, as he performed as the opening act at the dance event Sensation. Many on the world music scene took notice, and David Guetta expressed his admiration for Chuckie's talent and invited him to perform at the Ibiza's Pacha club. He also added Chuckie's "Toys Are Nuts" to an album distributed by the Ministry of Sound label, further elevating his status.

In 2011, Chuckie did a remix of LMFAO's "I'm in Miami Trick" and was featured on Hardwell's song "Move it to the Drum." The following year he released the solo work "Who is Ready to Jump?" His production skills also contribute daily to playlists on BBC's Radio 1, and he recently became one of the first DJs to rock the new and improved Marquee NY.
