About Coheed and Cambria tickets

Coheed and Cambria set themselves apart in several ways, but one of them is the fact that all their five albums are concept albums with songs based on the science fiction world created by singer Claudio Sanchez. His story series, titled The Amory Wars, has been adapted into a series of graphic books as well as a full-length novel. The name of the band was chosen after the two main characters of his fictional story line. Still, stories aside, Coheed and Cambria is a band, and making music is their strong suit. Their songs are hard-driving, hard-rocking anthems with insistent-yet-oddly lyrical vocals cutting through a thick mesh of guitar effects, heavy bass and a pad of synthesized harmonics. Through the performance of their heady compositions, Coheed and Cambria do a masterful job of incorporating their story concepts into their performance, intriguingly manufacturing an entire world of sound, mindset, fantasy and imagination (and in the case of their videos, visual) into which their fans can hardly help escaping. Coheed and Cambria started out in 2001 when Claudio Sanchez, who also plays guitar, Travis Stever on guitar, and Jon Carleo on bass, who had played together for several years as Shabutie, teamed with drummer Josh Eppard.

Another World

Even before Coheed and Cambria released their first album under that band name, they had produced an album as Shabutie, titled Delirium Trigger (2000) that foreshadowed the content of albums to come with songs from Sanchez's science fiction comics. But Coheed and Cambria officially began the ever-growing saga of their making with their first album, The Second Stage Turbine Blade in 2002 on Equal Vision Records. After touring and performing in larger venues, they released In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth:3 in 2003, another continuation of the ongoing series, and which gained a deal with Columbia Records, with whom they recorded their first major-label release, Good Apollo, I'm burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness, in 2005, which became a huge success, selling nearly 1 million copies, and moved them toward a more progressive rock sound. They have recorded two more albums since, and with Coheed and Cambria tickets you'll not only hear pulsing, infectious rock, you'll also be swallowed up in a world apart from our own.
