Update 2/14/2012:The last few days have been big in music. On Sunday the best in the business met in one place - well, Kanye and Jay-Z were notably absent - for the Grammy Awards. Not many surprises here. Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaz dressed ridiculously. Paul McCartney performed magically. And Adele ran away with all the awards.
In other news, on Valentine's Day, lovers and singles everywhere were treated to the 2012 Bamboozle lineup details. Get Bonnaroo tickets here >. But the biggest music news of the week was unfortunately also the saddest. This week we lost the one and only Whitney Houston. RIP Whitney the industry will not be the same without you.

The Grammys also saw performances from the Foo Fighters, Deadmau5, Lil Wayne, David Guetta, Adele, Taylor Swift and more. That more includes the newly reunited Beach Boys. The Beach Boys Reunion Tour is certain to be one of the hottest tickets moving into the Summer Concert season.

Looking for new music to listen to? This week on Spotify the top 5 tracks are: 1) Gotye - Somebody That I Used to Know 2) Fun - We Are Young 3) Tyga - Rack City 4) Rihanna - We Found Love 5) Foster the People - Pumped Up Kicks -- Foster the People has been dominating the Spotify top list for months which indicative of their popularity with a younger tech savvy audience. The top albums on Spotify are: 1) Drake - Take Care 2) Foster the People - Torches 3) Gotye - Making Mirrors 4) Jay-Z/Kanye West - Watch the Throne 5) M83 - Hurry Up We're Dreaming

Compare these top tracks to the billboard top 5 tracks: 1) Kelly Clarkson - Stronger 2) Adele - Set Fire To The Rain 3) Flo Rida - Good Feeling 4) Rihanna - We Found Love 5) David Guetta - Turn Me On. Interesting Rihanna's We Found Love is the only track appearing on both top 5 lists. Clearly Spotify is huge, but not in context of the masses. Plus it is influenced by a larger European base.

Support your favorite artists by going to their shows, justify downloading their music for free (or not), rock out with Dave Matthews, dance with Lady Gaga, swagger with Drake, listen to Arcade Fire's indie orchestra and see them fill the stage with every instrument under the sun.

Concert Seasons & Ticket Deals
Summer season is always the hottest time to buy concert tickets. With artists having an affinity to play at outdoor venues where the fresh air fuels the concert-festival energy, concert tickets can be a hectic purchase during such a popular season. At SeatGeek, our concert ticket search engine allows you to get the best deals for even sold out concert tickets and high demand events.

Acclaimed Concert Performances
The concert is not only about the music but the sheer entertainment value that is provided to fans and audience members. As some would say that concerts promote hedonistic atmospheres, some performances are nothing short of a virtuoso's voice tearing up audience members or creating unbridled anticipation for unblinking crowds of thousands. Whether it's Travis Barker's spinning drum kit or Lady Gaga's outrageous get-ups, every artists has a unique performance that creates a special experience. If you're looking to have a one-of-a-kind concert experience, be sure to find the best deals for concert tickets at SeatGeek.

Music Performance
Without silence there would not be music. Instruments, voices, and rhythms would not sound melodic, diverse, or particular to fill ambient noise. Today, musical performances and concerts have become a centerfold in world entertainment. Viewed as a cultural construct by anthropologists, a means to dance and entertain by die-hard fans, and a hobby/career for the performers, the concert experience is an edifying and liberating development that everyone can appreciate.
