The 'Aggies' played in the Athletic League of New England State Colleges along with the University of Massachusetts and the University of Rhode Island. The Huskies played in four other conferences before joining the Big East in 2004.UConn has won 17 conference titles in the program's history, including two Big East co-championships in 2007 and 2010. The Huskies have been to five bowl games since they joined the Division I-A ranks in 2004; they're 3-2 in bowl play after the 2010 season
