About Dickey Betts
Dickey Betts is most famous for being a founding member of the Allman Brothers Band. Betts formed his own band, Dickey Betts and Great Southern, in 2000 in Sarasota, FL, a year after the 30th anniversary of the Allman Brothers Band. Dickey Betts and Great Southern bring rock to the south with their distinct sound and voices. Betts last official touring date was December 17, 2009 though he plans to keep playing and perform at special events.
