Four times a charm for Shaun Brockhurst, aka Doctor P (Created March 6, 2013)

Call him Slum Dogz, Picto, Sounds Destructive or Doctor P. Just don't say English dubstep producer and DJ, Shaun Brockhurst, has some sort of dissociative identity disorder. With the aliases, the man behind some real high-energy beats has the fuel to his fire – the chance to produce experimental tracks, play with different sounds and get a feel for his audience. And he always has them coming back for more.

Doctor P is officially the fourth stage name Brockhurst adopted. The first was DJ Picto, until a collaboration with Trolley Snatcha and Amadeus was recorded under the name Sounds Destructive. After several releases on Cyntax Error Records, Second City and Mutation, one of those tracks by remixed by DJ Zen. That stirred Brockhurst's interest in the drum and bass scene, and work with DJ Swan-E led to the duo being called Slum Dogz.

It was when Brockhurst began working on dubstep tunes that were more bass driven that he became Doctor P. His track "Sweet Shop" was the hit that started it all, and after it was posted on his MySpace page it earned him worldwide recognition. He began remixing for other artists like Scroobius Pip, Example and Plan B, and many of his songs have received millions of views on YouTube and other social media channels.

Now with well-known tracks like "Tetris," "Big Boss" and "Watch Out" to his name, Doctor P is touring throughout the U.S. He also recently revealed that a Method Man collaboration would be included on his next album, as well as a track with Eva Simons.
