The story of Enrique Iglesias is one born of a certain wealth and privilege. He is, after all, the son of world renowned singer Julio Iglesias, and used his life experience among different cultures and musical influences to shape his own career.

Enrique started out attending a private school in Miami, and made his singing debut in a stage production of "Hello, Dolly." It stirred his passion for music, and a year into college he began shopping demos while using the name Enrique Martinez. He didn't disclose his new career path to his family until landing a record deal, then watched his self-titled debut album disappear from store shelves at a rate of more than a million copies over three months in 1995.

By 1998, Enrique had already launched a second album and his first world tour. In just three years he had sold some 17 million Spanish-language albums, swept award shows – including a 1996 Grammy for Best Latin Performer – and had his sights set on a true English language debut. That project, "Enqrique," achieved gold platinum status in at least 32 countries and moved his global album sales to some 23 million units.

With a charismatic, commanding stage presence Enrique has been hailed as one of the best Spanish language artists of all time. Over the last decade he has alternated Spanish and English-language albums, with his latest, "Euphoria," bowing in 2010 as a bilingual effort. A new single, "Finally Found You," is now available, and his upcoming sixth studio album is due out in early 2013. He recently toured with Jennifer Lopez as part of her greatest hits show.
