Forbidden Broadway News: Regular Season and Preseason Updates
Forbidden Broadway has received over 9,000 performances worldwide in more than 200 U.S cities as well as runs in Tokyo, Sydney, Singapore and London. The show is an Off-Broadway satirical revue created, written and directed by Gerard Alessandrini and originally opened in 1982 at the Palsson's Supper Club in New York City. Since then, Alessandrini has rewritten the show over a dozen times over the years to include parodies of newer shows such as The Lion King and revivals of older shows like Phantom of the Opera. Phillip George, Alessandrini's long-time collaborator, has co-directed the last five editions of the revue, since 2004. Whether you're a Broadway fan or not, highly coveted Forbidden Broadway tickets will ensure a night full of laughs in the theater.
