About Foxy Shazam
Foxy Shazam Tickets - Starry Music From Ohio
This might not be shocking at all, but, yes, Ohio offers some of the most delectable styles of music imaginable. Case in point: Foxy Shazam, a quintet ensemble founded in 2004. With band members Eric Nally on vocals, Loren Turner on guitar, Daisy on bass guitar, Sky White on piano, and Joe Halberstadt on drums, the band earned enough of a reputation to catch the attention of a label: New Weatherman Records.
Foxy Shazam Tickets - The Music of Shazam
Their debut album released in 2005 was called The Flamingo Trigger. If that was any indication that this band had some innovation and creativity, the whole industry definitely got wind of it. The second album released in 2008 was called Introducing Foxy Shazam -- as if they really needed an introduction.
Foxy Shazam Tickets - The Sound of Shazam
To start off, New Weatherman Records found Shazam pretty glorious simply because of the rambunctious sound that merged genres in a truly powerful way. This was a band that mixed piano with guitar with wild vocals and a double-kickdrum percussion style that hit the ears like hammers. In addition, Shazam was definitely performance-based with their rock 'n roll theatrics, making them a hit on stage. You couldn't expect anything less from the band.
