And without a doubt, Fuel fueled the crowd with the most iconic singles to hit the airwaves. Made up of singer and guitarist Brett Scallions, guitarist Carl Bell, bass guitarist Jeff Abercrombie, and drummer Kevin Miller, needless to say Sony's 550 imprint label recognized the talent and instantly signed the band to success.

After the release of their first full-length album Sunburn in 1998, Fuel was already ripping the chords with such hits as 'Shimmer,' 'Bittersweet,' and 'Jesus or a Gun,' but it wasn't until they came out with 'Hemorrhage (In My Hands)' in their second album Something Like Human two and a half years later. That propelled Fuel to true stardom, making the single as well as the album the defining work for the band. Fuel went on to record more albums such as Natural Selection in 2003 and Angels & Devils in 2007. But hard rock music lovers everywhere will always remember the hemmorhage in their hands as they listen to that one iconic song of the alternative metal arena.
