About Further Seems Forever
Further Seems Forever - Band History
Further Seems Forever began in Pompano Beach, Florida in 1998. They began with Dashboard Confessional front man Chris Carrabba at the helm, and signed to Tooth & Nail Records before releasing their first full-length The Moon is Down. Carrabba left the band after the album was recorded, and was replaced by Jason Gleason. In 2003, the band released How to Start A Fire, which peaked at number 23 on Billboard charts in the U.S. and number 6 on U.S. Christian charts. In 2004, Gleason left the band due to conflicts between band members, and was subsequently replaced by Jon Bunch, formerly of Sense Field. In 2004, the band released Hide Nothing, which peaked at number 122 on U.S. Billboard charts and number 4 on U.S. Christian charts. In 2006, Further Seems Forever disbanded for four years, before reforming in 2010 with original front man Carrabba back in the driving seat. The band is currently rehearsing and recording new material.
Further Seems Forever - The Music
Further Seems Forever plays a brand of emo that helped them become many fans' favorite band. All three of their albums are considered classics by many who were part of the early-2000's alternative music scene, as is evidenced by the fact that their reunion announcement featured a clip of the band rehearsing The Moon is Down to stir excitement. These days, their live shows carry a strong sense of nostalgia for the days when the emo genre was more widely appreciated, but also maintain a renewed sense of intensity. Make sure to get your Further Seems Forever tickets to experience this legendary band live.
