Work ethic powers Jeff the Brotherhood (Created June 5, 2013)

Meet brothers Jake and Jamin Orrall (aka Jeff the Brotherhood) who have been making noise of all kinds since they were pretty young kids.

Of course they grew up together, but Jake and Jamin were also raised with an insatiable appetite for music. Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, they formed a band while still in high school and used funds from pre-orders for their first album "I Like You," to also work on side projects that went on to receive critical acclaim.

Perhaps no one has worked harder than these two brothers over the last 10 years. They've been up and down the road, in big cities and small towns, and everywhere in between. Known for cacophonous live shows, they've played everywhere from privately-owned basements to large festivals like Bonnaroo. In fact, they've racked up more than 400 shows in the last two years, playing with the likes of Best Coast, The Kills, The Greenhornes and more.

Jeff the Brotherhood's sound blends elements of indie, punk, garage, and psychedelic rock. That combination, plus a relentless work ethic, set the stage for their 2012 Warner Brothers debut album "Hypnotic Nights." It was completed in just seven days, with the first single, "Sixpack," propelled by reverb-heavy guitar riffs and dynamic drumbeats. Other standouts include "Leave Me Out" and "Dark Energy," and showcase why Jeff the Brotherhood could be the next mega-stars in the music industry.
