Jimmy Buffett has been recording music since 1968 and continues to be a successful artist among his followers, famously known as 'Parrotheads.' His music is most known for its island and vacation feel. Some of his hit singles include 'Margaritaville,' 'Come Monday,' and 'It's Five O'Clock Somewhere,' in which he was featured with country superstar Alan Jackson. Buffett began his musical career in Nashville, Tennessee and eventually moved to Key West. It was there he combined country, folk and pop music interlaced with the sounds of the islands. Much of the inspiration for his music also comes from his frequent visits to the Caribbean.
