Rock and roll legend John Fogerty has become legendary for the energy and genuineness he gives his live shows. As a founding member of the Southern roots rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival, along with his younger brother Tom Fogerty, John Fogerty composed most of the band's biggest hits, including 'Proud Mary,' 'Born on the Bayou,' 'Green River,' 'Bad Moon Rising,' 'Fortunate Son,' 'Down on the Corner,' 'Lookin' Out My Back Door,' and 'Who'll Stop the Rain.' But as successful as Creedence Clearwater Revival was, it's as a solo artist that John Fogerty has really shone. After the breakup of the band in 1973, Fogerty embarked on his solo career, at first as mostly a country act, and though he had some successes, such as the single 'Rockin' All Over the World,' over all sales were slim. That is, until 1985, when Fogerty released his album Centerfield and had huge comeback success with 'The Old Man Down the Road,' and especially the title track, a favorite among baseball fans. Fogerty's next album, Eye of the Zombie was not as successful, and he faded from the music scene for a while, rediscovering his southern roots. Fogerty stormed back again in 1997 with the release of Blue Moon Swamp and has recorded four more albums since. But it's always been his live shows that showcase his electrifying talent as a performer, and John Fogerty tickets are a chance to see one of the best on stage.
