But we'll lay off of that topic for a moment, because this is about the self-described conglomeration of 'psychedelic hip-hop punk rock' in the outfit known as the Kottonmouth Kings from Orange County, California, birthed in 1994 with a mission to bring the essence of Hip Hop in a big way. They're comprised of the likes of Brad Daddy X, Saint Vicious, D-Loc, DJ Bobby B, and 'visual assassin' Pakelika. Capitol Records felt the magic in the Kings, signing a contract with them and bringing the wild lyrics and crazy sounds to the forefront.

Their first full-length album was entitled Royal Highness and hailed the Kings as powerful hip-hop staples of the music scene. A year later, Hidden Stash was released, followed by High Society. They kept rollin' in the music with a little somethin' something' to smoke with a third and fourth studio album, entitled High Society and Hidden Stash, Vol. 2: Kream of the Krop respectively. And still a fifth album came out in 2002 entitled Rollin' Stoned. There was no telling when this crazy hip-hop band was going to stop!

And the truth is this: they shouldn't stop. With their infectious lyrics and 'punk-adelic' sounds, the Kings brings the best in Hip Hop with such flavor that you definitely can't say no!
