Aggressive sound defines LA Riots (Updated January 9, 2013)

LA Riots debuted in 2007, their music a blend of Alt Dance, Indie Rock and Electro. Formed on the 15th anniversary of the 1992 Los Angeles riots, the group took its name as a reflection of their aggressive sound. Inside of a year, the duo became an Internet sensation.

Comprised of DJ/producers Daniel LeDisko and Jo'B, LA Riots came to prominence with a number of remixes, including the Mystery Jets' "Diamonds in the Dark", Justice's "The Party", Chromeo's "Bonafide Lovin'" and other hits. Behind the power of the MP3 'blogosphere', they powered into 2008 behind Photek's "Love and War", Hot Chip's "Ready for the Floor", and a remix of Weezer's "Automatic" was licensed for the soundtrack of the Sony Playstation game Gran Turismo 5.

The momentum continued as LA Riots continued to land even more high-profile gigs. In 2009 they toured with The Crystal Method and MSTRKRFT. They also made stops at Lollapalooza, the ULTRA Music Festival, Belgium's Pukklepop Festival, the Electric Zoo and many other events and venues. Two years later the kicked off the year with a #1 Billboard Remix and a sold out European Tour.

LA Riots has held residency at the XS Nightclub in Las Vegas and were featured on the Identity Festival Tour as it rolled across the United States. They are expected to be in high demand in 2013, with stops at the Tryst Nightclub in Las Vegas (January 10) and Lure in Hollywood (February 14) already booked.
