The Los Angeles Clippers, who signed forward Ronny Turiaf to a one-year deal earlier this week, will open their season on Halloween night hosting the Memphis Grizzlies at the Staples Center. The 2012-2013 NBA schedule, which was released on Thursday, features a full slate of games for the first Friday night of the season on November 2nd, when the Clippers will host their Staples Center rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers. The game will also feature the highly- anticipated meeting between the two new and high-profile point guards that currently inhabit the city of Los Angeles, Chris Paul and Steve Nash.
5/25/12 The Los Angeles Clippers wowed a lot of NBA fans this season with the play of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin and the thrill of 'Lob City,' but their season came to an abrupt end on Sunday night with a 102-99 loss to the San Antonio Spurs at the Staples Center. The Clippers were swept 4-0 in their Western Conference semifinals series by the currently unstoppable Spurs juggernaut, but they are a young team with a lot of potential and there is no doubt that they will be back again to make another run at it next season.
5/18/12 The Los Angeles Clippers had no answer for Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and the rest of the San Antonio Spurs in Game 2 as they fell 105-88 and now trail their Western Conference semifinals series 2-0. Blake Griffin scored 20 points for the Clippers and led the team in scoring, however he was closed out of the paint and could only manage a single rebound all night. On Saturday, the series will move to the Staples Center in Los Angeles for Game 3 and the Clippers will look to grab a victory on their home floor and jump back into the series.
5/11/12 The Los Angeles Clippers had an opportunity to close out their first round series with the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 5 but fell 92-80 and will now return to the Staples Center in Los Angeles for a chance to wrap up the series at home in Game 6. Both Blake Griffin and Chris Paul suffered minor injuries in Game 5, but both will likely be on the floor for Game 6, as the Clippers do not want the Grizzlies to force a Game 7 and take the series back to Memphis. The winner of this series will certainly have a tough task in the semifinals, as they will have to face the top-seeded Spurs.
After being down by 27 points with only 8 minutes remaining in the game, the Los Angeles Clippers stunned basketball enthusiasts around the world as they rallied back for a 99-98 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies in the opening game of their Western Conference playoff series. Rudy Gay had a chance to put the game away for the Grizzlies, but missed a jump shot with 0.9 seconds left to seal the victory for Los Angeles. Chris Paul added 14 points and 11 assists for the Clippers, while forward Blake Griffin added 17 points and 7 rebounds. Memphis will look to even the series up on Tuesday.
5/4/12 After one of the more remarkable comebacks in NBA history in Game 1 of their best-of-seven first round series with the Memphis Grizzles, the Los Angeles Clippers fell 105-98 in Game 2 to find the series evened up at 1-1 as they head back home to the Staples Center in Los Angeles for Games 3 and 4 of the series. Chris Paul led the Clippers with 29 points and 6 assists in Game 2, but it wasn't enough to stop the Grizzlies from avenging their heartbreaking Game 1 loss and tying up the series. Now, Blake Griffin and Chris Paul will try to lead the Clippers to a couple of home wins and turn the series back in their favor.
With just a few games left in the NBA season, the Los Angeles Clippers have clinched a playoff berth and will be either the three, four or five seed in the Western Conference. The team sits just a game behind the division leading Lakers and could clinch the division with victories in it's final two games. The team's final game is against the New York Knicks, and while the team has already clinched a playoff spot itself, it is also battling for a higher seed and will be tough competition. Power forward Blake Griffin leads the team, averaging 20.6 points per game on the season.
After finishing 8-2 over their last 10 games, the Los Angeles Clippers find themselves in a tight race for a playoff spot as the shortened season winds down. Currently, they are 1.5 games behind the Lakers and are entrenched as the #4 seed, however Memphis sits only a half game behind them and Dallas, Houston and Denver are all also within striking distance. The Clippers will rely heavily on the likes of Chris Paul, averaging 19.5 points per game and 8.9 assists, to provide them with timely shooting down the stretch. They will also look to Blake Griffin to provide leadership on and off the court. Griffin is averaging 20.7 points and 10.9 rebounds per game. 4/12/12 Although the Los Angeles Lakers have long been the kings of basketball in L.A., the Clippers are rewriting that story as we speak. With a 36-23 record and the 4th spot in the Western Conference, the Clippers sit only a game behind the Lakers in the West's Pacific Division. If they can pass the Lakers in the final week of the season, they will capture their first division title in 42 years. Behind the stellar highlight reel play of Blake Griffin and Chris Paul, the Clippers have burst onto the scene in the Western Conference and look to make a splash come playoff time.

With a first selection of the 2009 NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Clippers selected forward Blake Griffin from Oklahoma and traded Zach Randolph to Memphis so Griffin had a position on the starting lineup. In February 4, head coach Mike Dunleavy resigned his position as the head coach and was eventually fired as the General Manager of the Clippers being replaced by Neil Olshey. Although the Clippers did see minor improvement with the duration of the season, the interim Coach Kim Hughes was fired at the end of the season.
With high hopes for the 2011 season with Eric Gordan, Chris Kaman, DeAndre Jordan, Baron Davis, and the #1 selection Blake Griffin, the Clippers ended up getting off to a weak start. Griffin was chosen as a Western Conference Reserve for the NBA All-Star Game. Since Tim Duncan in 1997, Griffin has been the only player to receive this honor as a rookie.
