Frontend Web Developer
Ideal candidate
We're looking for a talented frontend developer to help add new products and features to SeatGeek's user experience. The idea candidate doesn't need to be a designer; rather, we're looking for someone who is a wizard with Javascript, AJAX, and PHP. He/she will report directly to the CTO.
Primary responsibilities
- Be the point man (or woman) for adding new products and features to SeatGeek's UI
- Use AJAX to enhance the ticket shopping experience on SeatGeek
- Take existing design concepts and adapt them for new additions to the site
- Work with SeatGeek's graphic designer to implement new design elements
- Use PHP to build logic that drives the UI
Required skills/experience
- Extensive experience building web apps with JavaScript and AJAX (the hiring decision will largely be based on what you've built)
- Familiarity with agile development
- Fanatical about writing clean, well-commented code
- Ability to lend a hand with backend work when necessary
