About Matisyahu
Breaking down stereotypes and barriers, American Hasidic Jewish reggae musician, Matisyahu, has developed an eclectic following since the release of his first studio album in 2004. Fusing together traditional Jewish themes with Reggae, jazz, rock and hip hop beat-boxing, Matishayu has worked with various musicians of different styles. He has been invited to perform with progressive jam-band Phish, as well as hip-hop group Hadag Nahash. He has been critically acclaimed by both rap and rock outlets for all three of his studio albums, Shake Off the Dust... Arise, Youth, and Light. Matishayu tickets are highly coveted among music lovers everywhere.
