Here at SeatGeek we closely monitor what things are being searched on our site. Surprisingly, one of the biggest searches taking place recently was for Nickelback’s current tour. Not surprising, the other was Lady Gaga. I want to share some information with you that I have found about their tours so you can decide if you would like to see either of these performances live.
First, I would like to give a brief review of what I have heard about Nickelback’s tour. I looked at Live Nation to see what people who had actually been to the concert were saying about it. One user commented on May 24, 2010 by saying, “I have been to a lot of concerts and they were the BEST.” As I continued reading through some of the other posts, it seemed that many concert-goers were impressed by the pyrotechnic show that occurs during Nickelback’s set.
I also continuously read statements about how this was the best concert these users had ever seen. So if you think you might be interested in a Nickelback concert and you want to see if they are coming to your area, check SeatGeek here and see what ticket prices are looking like!
To continue on, I want to provide you with a review of Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball tour. This is probably the most highly anticipated concert of the year. Personally, I tried to get tickets to her New York show and it was sold out within 30 minutes. Sadly to say, I will not be able to go to her show this summer, but she is returning to her home city in February 2011, so hopefully I will be able to catch a glimpse of Miss Gaga then. Anyway, I looked at the New York Post and Live Nation to see what people were saying about her show.
Many have described the Monster Ball tour as a high-octane show with multiple costume changes and a lights and video show that will blow your mind. Lady Gaga is trying to get to the “Monster Ball”, so her concert takes the audience through her journey of trying to get to the big event. The New York Post’s review listed a few different details about the show that you might be interested in. First of all, it says that not only did the fans love the music, but they really enjoy Lady Gaga’s sense of style. If you have seen any pictures of her on red carpets or elsewhere, then you know that her style is very eclectic. The Post also said that Lady Gaga feeds off her audience’s energy, almost like it charges her, in a way, to give a great performance.

One user on Live Nation stated this in his/her concert review on March 25, 2010, “Her use of videos as backdrops and intermissions combined with her ever-changing outfits made this concert more like a play of sorts…” This user’s comment was positive, as were many others on the page. One thing fans should be wary of though, is bringing small children to Lady Gaga’s show. Some of the songs are sexually charged, as are the acts that go along with those songs.
Finding tickets to a Lady Gaga concert is quite a difficult feat, but it is possible. Click here to see when she might be coming to your town and to see if there are tickets available.
I hope you all can get out there and enjoy some of these concerts this summer! Feel free to comment and let me know if you have seen either of the concerts I mentioned and let me know what you thought about them. If you have seen another show you would like to discuss, do that too!
