Mystikal Tickets - Shake Ya Ass, But Watch Yourself!
Back in the '90s, in all honesty rap seriously made a comeback. When Master P founded the No Limit label, the genre broke out in huge waves. From Juvenile, to Lil' Wayne, to everyone else including one hopeful in the industry, born on September 22, 1970, by the name of Mystikal. Straight out of New Orleans, this rapper exploded onto the scene with Jive Records backing him, signing him in 1995.
Mystikal Tickets - The Music of Mystikal
His debut album under the label was called Mind of Mystikal, released in 1996, and came close to hitting gold. It was, however, enough to land him a follow-up effort called Unpredictable, released in 1997. It was that album that suddenly destroyed the barriers and broke Mystikal out into the forefront along with everyone else, appearing in cameos as well, such as Joe's 'Stutter' single.Ghetto Fabulous followed in 1999, debuting just short of the number one spot on the charts. Mystikal's probably best known for his iconic booty-shaking single 'Shake Ya Ass.' It was so controversial, though, that most know the censored version by the title 'Shake It Fast.'

Not one rapper out there can actually sound like Mystikal. While being able to turn a rhyme with the best of him, he was known for his jagged and raspy voice, good looks, and a certain gangster flair that was so prominent for his time. Clearly one of the most influential rappers of the '90s.
