With the savage style of frontman Keith Flint hailing from the U.K., Prodigy took the industrial music world by storm when the debut album was released by XL Records in 1991.

It wasn't, of course, until their third album Fat of the Land was released that many music moguls began to take notice of the hard-hitting punk sounds. The notable tracks on that album were 'Firestarter' and 'Breathe.' This was a band, though, that didn't stop raking in some heavy hits -- following up with other albums and yet two other controversial singles 'Smack My Bitch Up' and 'Funky Shit.' Powerful stuff, and definitely worth dancing to.

One look at this band, and you'd know right away that you're up for a major awesome performance. With Flint's spiky hairstyle and piercings, the wild look on his face, the frontman was there. In addition, the electronic music was powerful with the ambient down tempoes and rave hardcore sounds mixed in. Rave-whistle effects were pretty common with Prodigy, and it hit a major note with the dance crowds.
