Red Tickets - The Beginning

Like any other Christian rock band, faith plays its role in bringing a group of emotional artists together with an edge. Red is definitely no different -- made up of four, vocalist and frontman Michael Barnes, twin brother guitarists Anthony and Randy Armstrong, and a fourth guitarist Jasen Rauch. Rauch later left to make way for one of the best drummers in the industry, Joe Rickard. The band Red was about to pummel the scene hard.

Red Tickets - The Journey

It was during the decade of 2000 that they formed their band. In 2006, Red released End of Silence, giving birth to three singles that hit the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts. 2009 hailed the coming of a second album, entitled Innocence & Instinct, inspired by Dante's 'Inferno' and a 2007 tour accident that nearly cost the band their lives. Some of Red's most powerful tracks are 'Let Go,' 'Breathe Into Me,' 'Already Over,' and 'Death of Me.'

One could easily say that Red can be a 'Linkin Park', 'Breaking Benjamin' or 'Chevelle' rock band with Christian undertones, but the truth was they had their own sound filled with melodious guitar riffs and classical hints leading toward what can be called an angry Beethoven rage. Sort of like mixing the godly voice of an orchestra with the angry voice of a hard rocker.
